A fitting fête for an age-old love story
The pair hit it off during their 8th grade year at Holy Redeemer Area School, when Bruce arrived as the "cool" new transfer student. They "dated" for a year before parting ways, yet remained friends and rekindled their romance as seniors before both attending Linfield College. Fast forward many years and one proposal later, and the duo knew they’d found their ideal wedding location the second they entered our hotel, which they describe as “an intimate, beautiful lodge” located in the heart of Portland. The couple gush, "The panoramic views of the river and Portland’s bridges, the perfectly strung lights above the courtyard, the landscaping … It immediately drew us in. It was so unique and so very ‘Portland.’" They said "I do" in the serene courtyard before taking the party into the Marina Ballroom. The couple describes their guests as a "lively, party crowd"—that helped make their event a roaring success with a jam-packed dance floor the entire night.
